The fifth annual Open Streets Emory Village will be Sunday, October 29, from 2 to 6 PM. Mark your calendars now for this family friendly fun-filled afternoon in the streets of Emory Village! There will be fun activities in the street, talented local performers, a puppet factory, our popular dog costume contest, and a Halloween parade.
Open Streets Emory Village is an annual family- and pedestrian-friendly event presented in collaboration with DeKalb County by the all-volunteer Emory Village Alliance— a partnership of businesses, neighbors and Emory University, whose mission is to continue to improve the vitality and accessibility of Emory Village as a work, play and dine destination.
Join the Open Streets Emory Village Planning Team to make this year’s Open Streets even better than last year. The Emory Village Alliance Board is recruiting volunteers to serve on the Planning Committee, co-chaired by Nathan Hartman and Becky Evans. There are openings in the following positions: Publicity and Communications, Activities, Halloween Parade, Volunteer Coordinator, and EVA Business Coordinator. All volunteers will be mentored and supported. We welcome your fresh ideas and energy!
