Third Annual Peavine Duck Race Will Virtually Quack You Up!

Looking for more live sports with handsome competitors and celebrity judges? These competitors won’t be kept from activity due to positive Covid-19 tests.

The third annual Peavine Duck Race is a virtual affair that will cap off Open Streets Emory Village-COVID19 edition on Sunday, Oct. 25. Watch as the rubber ducks meander downstream in Emory Village on Southfork Conservancy’s Facebook page.

Get in the action! Sign up at  southforkconservancy.org for a free duck number! Numbers are written on the bottom of the ducks, and the first ducks to cross the finish line downstream will win ducky prizes! Anyone who signs up with a name and email for any other official Open Streets event may have a duck entered for them in the Peavine Creek Duck race.

While you’re at the Southfork Conservancy website, take a look at the incredible work the organization is doing to reclaim Peavine Creek in Emory Village and elsewhere.
