2016 Home Tour Plans Village Events

History Happens April 22-24 during the 2016 Druid Hills Home and Garden Tour which has tapped Emory Village as a central gathering spot for entertainment, artistry, and a 5K walk/run.

Local bands playing in the the Plaza will include aDruid Hills youth music showcase on Friday evening, while 688 and Bradley Cole Smith will star on  Saturday evening.

During the day Saturday, April 23, a Makers Market in the Slice ‘n Pint parking lot will feature paintings, prints, jewelry, clothing, furniture, handmade items, baked goods and sculpture by Atlanta artists. The products 12745671_10153994747045746_623682668431022540_nand works will be available for purchase.

The Patch Dash 5K walk/run will begin in the Village at 8 a.m., April 24,  and will benefit Press On To Cure Childhood Cancer.

The tour, which will feature six homes this year, is a volunteer project of the Druid Hills Civic Association.  Proceeds benefit historic preservation and green space restoration.

Friday, April 22: 1pm – 5 p.m.
Saturday, April 23: 10am – 5pm
Sunday, April 24: 10am – 5pm

Tickets purchased in advance are $25 individual, $20 each for groups of six or more, and $30 each on the day of the tour. Tickets will be available at CVS (Emory Village): 1554 N Decatur Rd;  Trinity Mercantile: 116 E Trinity Pl, Decatur; Intown Ace Hardware, 854 North Highland Avenue Northeast; and Intown Ace Hardware: 1404 Scott Blvd, Decatur.
