Mark Your Calendar & Volunteer!

PrintVolunteers are still needed for the fifth annual Open Streets Emory Village on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2 to 6 PM. Mark your calendars now for this family friendly fun-filled afternoon in the streets of Emory Village! There will be fun activities in the street, talented local performers, a puppet factory, our popular dog costume contest, and a Halloween parade.

Open Streets Emory Village is an annual family- and pedestrian-friendly event presented in collaboration with DeKalb County by the all-volunteer Emory Village Alliance— a partnership of businesses, neighbors and Emory University, whose mission is to continue to improve the vitality and accessibility of Emory Village as a work, play and dine destination.

Help make this year’s Open Streets even better than last year. The Emory Village Alliance is recruiting volunteers to help on the day of the event. All volunteers will be mentored and supported. We welcome your fresh ideas and energy!
